In the Andalusian valley, surrounded by nature, you will find "Cortijo Almagro", an ancient farm located in the Serrania de Ronda, an area rich in nature, history and culture.
Almagro consists of 43 hectares of mainly hilly ground, filled with olive trees, vineyard and a lot of agriculture such as wheat, beans, oats and chickpeas.
In 2022, Camping Almagro was founded with the passion of sharing the beauty of Almagro with other nature lovers. The campsite has a view of both Acinipo, ancient ruins of the Roman city, and Fortaleza, remains of a fortress from the time of the Nazarids.
What also makes the place unique are the impressive views of the mountain ranges of the "Sierra's de Grazalema" and the "Sierra's de Las Nieves". These are two magnificent natural parks with beautiful flora and fauna and breathtaking views.
Almagro is located in the sleepy but unique village called Montecorto.
Montecorto is one of the characteristic white villages that make Andalusia so special. Montecorto together with the surrounding white villages: Grazalema, El Gastor, Zahara de la Sierra, Setenil de las bodegas, Olvera, are all destinations that are very worthwhile visiting.
At a relatively short distance, i.e. as a daytrip, are cities like Seville, Cordoba, Granada, Cadiz, Huelva, Malaga and of course very close by: our own Ronda. And for those who appreciate a day at the seaside: both the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Coast are nearby.
